Guides Hub

This hub is the map for every Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD tutorial on the wiki. The game is still in its launch window — Ironhide Game Studio set 24 September 2026 for Steam, iOS, and Android — so the guides lean on the Steam demo, official devlogs, and the systems already shown in the Heroes, Towers, Spells, and Upgrades menus.

Start with the beginner guide if you have never placed a Kingdom Rush tower. If you already know Archer, Barracks, Mage, and Artillery, jump to the two-hero system or the campaign stages notes. Players who want a harder constraint should open Iron mode and Classic Mode.

What these guides actually cover

Genesis is a single-player fantasy tower defense. You defend early Linirea, spend gold on 15 towers, field two of 12 heroes, and keep three spell slots ready for leaks. The wiki does not invent hidden stats. Where a number is not public, the page says so and points you at a practice method instead.

Use the hero tier list and tower tier list after you understand the lane, not before. Rankings without a map in mind waste stars.

How Genesis changed the old loop

Veterans of Kingdom Rush, Frontiers, Origins, Vengeance, and Alliance will recognize the four families: archers for flying and cheap damage, barracks to stall, mages for armor, artillery for clumps. Genesis keeps that language and then adds three twists that show up in every guide:

  1. Two heroes per stage. One tank on the choke and one rover on the split is the default, not a luxury. See Gerald Lightseeker and Zefira for the opening pair.
  2. Per-unit upgrade trees. Towers, heroes, and spells each have their own nodes. The global star board still exists — the upgrade planner walks the four columns — but you also retune individual kits between stages.
  3. Challenge modes on top of Veteran. Iron, Blitz, Spells Rush, and Classic Mode are not extra campaigns; they are modifiers on the same 18 stages.

The demo recap explains what the Next Fest build included (four stages, then two more, extra modes, extra tower) and what closed when Ironhide said goodbye to the demo. Full-game pages stay labeled as launch-window notes until post-launch patches land on the updates hub.

How we write tactics

Every guide on this hub uses the same rules. Internal links stay locale-agnostic (/guides/iron-mode/). Claims about roster size, stage count, and modes match Steam and Ironhide’s own posts. When a YouTube walkthrough exists, the page embeds one real video in the middle of the article — never a stack of clips at the end, never a fake ID.

If a mechanic is still hidden behind the 24 September 2026 launch, the guide tells you what to practice in Veteran instead of padding the word count with guesses. That is why the campaign stages page names Citadel, Silveroak, Western Wall, Lozagon Tower, Stormcloud Depths, and Arcania, and refuses to invent boss HP.

After you finish a guide

Come back to this hub when a mode changes your tower budget. Iron mode is a different article from Classic Mode even though both feel “restricted.” Iron freezes the build you already chose; Classic throws away the extra eleven towers and asks you to win with the original four. Mixing those two ideas is how people leak the last wave.

Keep the spell tier list nearby once Rain of Fire, Reinforcements, and Royal Edict stop being panic buttons. Spell slots are loadout, not a third hero.

When Ironhide publishes a patch, the devlogs page will point at the guide that actually changed. Until then, treat this hub as the stable index for launch week.
