Heroes Hub

Heroes in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD are moving towers with opinions. You equip two of twelve, upgrade each on a personal tree, and send them down the dirt while 15 towers do the boring work. This hub is the index. Deep pages exist for the taught pair — Gerald Lightseeker and Zefira — plus Oni from Devlog #27, and a full roster that lists every public name without inventing the last silhouettes.

The in-game Heroes panel is a wooden sheet: two equipped portraits, a row of twelve, a big art pose, a short lore blurb, Equip and Upgrade buttons. Gerald’s blurb in current art says he survived Vez’nan’s rampage and was sent to change the past so the Dark Wizard cannot use the Tear of Elynie. That is the campaign’s excuse for putting a veteran paladin in a prequel.

How heroes work

  • Click portrait or model, click path. Details on Controls.
  • They path around scenery. Flyers can ignore some of that. Use flyers as Rovers on disconnected lanes.
  • They die, they respawn. Dual death is a failed two-hero plan.
  • They do not replace barracks. Gerald feels like a Knights Order. He is still one man.

The taught pair

Gerald is the Anchor: shield, Sword of Elynie, door. Ironhide’s Devlog #2 walked his whole life — original hero, lazy in Vengeance, beard and gravity in later games, helmet debated by the internet. Zefira is Devlog #3: Academy teacher who would rather fight than lecture, joins after Gerald’s troops save her students from bandits.

If you only read two pages in this hub, read those two, then the hero tier list.

The rest of the twelve

Friday devlogs and the portrait strip already name or show:

  • Malik — hammer, fury, Devlog #5.
  • Ignus — flame prodigy, Devlog #25.
  • Drakkan — arcane dragon, Devlog #13.
  • Ashbite — dragon family, series fire.
  • Oni — Devlog #27 lore teaser.
  • Bolin Farslayer — long-range physical, series artillery hero.
  • Additional Linirean champions on the panel (Connor, Rhodes, Gemina among names circulating in public wikis).

The hero roster keeps that list honest. If a name is only a rumor, it stays a rumor.

Pairing in one paragraph

Anchor plus Rover. Melee plus delete. Ground plus flyer if the path breaks. Never two tourists. Iron mode locks the pair. Classic Mode drops you to one hero plus the original four towers. Spells Rush bans them.

Upgrades

Personal trees plus the global four-column board. Do not max a joke node before “stay alive” on the Anchor. The upgrade planner is for stars; hero buttons live on this panel.

Where to go next

New: Getting Started then Gerald then Zefira. Veterans: roster then tier list then a campaign node. Collectors: wait for 24 September 2026 instead of stuffing this hub with fake bios.
